Beep-Beep, 2023 Clyde Moore Memorial Hall of Fame

Rhodesian Ridgeback, CRN 040027, owned by Joy Gochman

What kind of dog should be inducted into the Clyde Moore Hall Of Fame? We believe it should be Beep-Beep, a Rhodesian Ridgeback. Notoriety: She might not have been a flashy fast dog setting records and taking names, but what she did do was play a sport that wasn’t popular for her breed… and she played it exceptionally well. Beep-Beep was an ambassador for her breed and was well known in Regions 15 and 9 with her owner, Joy Gochman. Longevity: She raced for 10 years and accumulated “first-to” titles in 10 of 14 regular titles, 8 of 10 multibreed titles, and earned her Iron Dog. Team Value: Beep-Beep was a valuable start dog, well before the no-false-start rule changes. She led her team to the Multibreed Regional Championship in 2008, and a 1st place finish in the CanAm Classic Multibreed Division 1 in 2009. That is an achievement by itself, but add that Beep-Beep is a rare breed in the sport and a large breed, it was a huge feat.
