Jet, Labrador Retriever, CRN 020421
In February 2002 Jet made his debut at the Fur Fun Tournament for NET. He was in for warm-ups but he did well, earning his FDX and ran full time after that earning 32,444 points to date.
For his first five years of his career he was a member of New England Trailblazers and has been part of White Mountain Mayhem for the last three. Each year on NET he was a core member of the Region 13 Multi-breed Champion team. Jet’s best time was a 4.112 and, he averaged times of 4.1 & 4.2. NET only won the Multi-breed Regional Championships with Jet as a member.
Jet had many handlers over the years and helped many teammates perfect their starts.. They smiled at his unflagging enthusiasm and were amazed at his strength.
Everyone in Region 13 could always tell when Jet was in the lane or on deck as his bark sounded much like a seal. And Box Loader Beware – spit, drool and soggy tennis balls were always a part of his run. A big strong dog with a nice box turn but you had to be ready or he could knock you off the box with his enthusiasm.
