Jester, mix, CRN 021072
There’s no doubt in any Skidmarkz member’s mind that Jester is an MVP flyball dog; we’re sure folks on clubs he’s helped over the years will agree. Jester was literally born and bred to play flyball, but was “too tall” for his breeder’s club, so ended up with Skidz. Jester is any club’s dream-come-true flyball dog: he learned fast, runs fast, loves balls, loves racing, will race for anyone, is always ready to go. Jester helps train new members to race: this is how you start a dog, this is how you pass, this is how you get them to run back to you. Jester illustrates everything perfectly for anyone. Kids who want to try flyball can help run Jester. Dogs who need to learn passing can pass Jester. Jester will always focus on the game. In his prime, Jester ran low 4s and was height dog (12″ hurdles!) for our club’s record-holding teams in 2004, both regular and multi-breed. Jester helps other Open and Vet teams and is always happy to spread the joy of flyball. It’s difficult to imagine any dog being more valuable overall to a club than Jester’s been to us. He truly is a Flyball-Wonder-Dog.
