HeyU – Labrador Retriever, CRN 120231
The Music City Road Dogs nominate Dixie Flyer labrador retriever HeyU for Region 14 2019 MVP. When HeyU started racing in February 2012 he apparently thought flyball was too quiet. He is known in several regions for his enthusiasm for the game. His signature bark and bounce leaves memorable impressions on competitors and spectators alike. His bark can be heard over all other barking in the lanes, which is quite a feat! His love for the game is evident when you you watch him run. He will run for anyone, but particularly likes running for Junior Handlers. His consistency has taught many handlers and dogs how to play the game including running him and passing him. He has run with many clubs in Region 14, and also plays several times a year outside the region, providing many dogs the opportunity to play. This contributed to HeyU being the youngest dog in the region to earn the prestigious Hobbes title at just under 8 years of age.
