Scooter – Rat Terrier, CRN 090427
Sometimes it’s easy to overlook a team’s smallest dog, but that’s certainly not true for Iron Dog Scooter, the tiniest member of Micky Colson’s Rat Pack. Whether he’s sneezing on command for a treat or barking for his 4pm dinner, this inspirational rescue dog will always make sure you know he’s there. Scooter is an instant crowd pleaser at tournaments, and no demo would be complete without his tiny legs whizzing down the lanes to exuberant cheers. FGDCH Scooter is an ultra-reliable 7″ height dog who’s earned over 35,000 points. Through the years, this tiny guy has made a giant impact on the next generation of flyball dogs and handlers. His small size and willingness to run for anyone makes him ideal for any Junior Handler. Scooter is the perfect, non-threatening dog to help a timid newbie learn to pass; and while his small stature may tempt high-drive dogs eager to chase, Scooter radiates his characteristic confidence if they head his way. Scooter exemplifies the unique team spirit of flyball. His consistency, versatility, and temperament have made him a treasure to ARC and Region 5. As the ultimate team player, Scooter richly deserves to be this year’s Region 5 MVP.
