NAFA Flyball Titles

North American Flyball Association / NAFA Flyball Titles

In NAFA sanctioned flyball tournaments, dogs earn title points based on heat times. Each time a team races with a recorded time under 24 seconds: each dog racing in that heat earns 25 points, 5 points for under 28 seconds, and 1 point for under 32 seconds. Titles are earned by racing in Regular, Open, Multibreed, or approved Non-Regular Classes (such as Juniors).

Multibreed Flyball Titles

When a team races in the Multibreed Class, the dogs also earn an equal number of multibreed points towards Multibreed titles and awards.

Special Flyball Titles

Iron Dog – A NAFA Iron Dog is a dog that has earned at least one NAFA point in ten consecutive racing years. This title celebrates longevity in the sport. Iron Dog plaques will be issued annually after the end of each NAFA racing year.

Title Patches – A limited supply of Title Patches are available for purchase by contacting awards@flyball.org. Due to decreased demand, no further title patches will be produced as of October 2025.
