Zorro, 2010 Region 18 MVP

Zorro, Jack/Parson Russell Terrier NND, CRN 070528

Zorro is a wee little Jack Russell Terrier with a whole lot of spunk and attitude. He is a straight-shooting bullet who will not quit (even when the race is over). He can run with any handler, any position, any time. Zorro began his flyball training with Alaska Dogs Gone Wild (ADGW) and learned the game quickly. He has never looked back and is quite certain flyball was created just for him. Zorro ran in his first demo at a hockey game in front of 5,400 spectators, completely unfazed by the noise and commotion. He is a huge crowd-pleaser with his own following of fans. Zorro is the top-pointed Alaska-trained dog and is currently poised to become the top-pointed ADGW dog at CanAm 2010. He recently earned his FMX, which was no easy task in such an isolated region. Zorro may be one of the smallest flyball dogs out there, but the impact and benefits he has given to his team and to flyball in Alaska are as big as his bark.
