Foster, Australian Cattle Dog, CRN 000170
Foster is a compact, focused, ball crazy Australian Cattle Dog. Born to work, Foster has been doing just that. Running in her first tournament in December 1999 and making herself the heart and soul of FBI. Whatever you ask of Foster, she delivers, with determination. After running for 11 years, with a few sidelines, including about 2 years of sitting out due to surgeries, Foster made the 40K mark. She would have done so much sooner but, rock that she is, she was always there, steady and available, to train the new dogs, run with the green teams, and provide the stability that allowed other dogs to achieve their potential while sacrificing her own points. Not only has she run tirelessly on FBI, but Foster oftentimes lends the steadiness and speed that other teams in our region need to make sure they get the chance to play. Even when her knees gave out, Foster didn’t let that (or her mom, Kim) slow her down. After two surgeries and months of rehab, Foster was demanding to be back on the lanes, doing what she loves best. At 11 Foster is still racing strong (sub-5’s) and is a legend in our region.
