Diva, 2019 Region 18 MVP

Diva – Siberian Husky, CRN 140646

Diva was adopted from Raven’s Husky Haven and Rescue in Illinois and picked up on the way home from CanAm in 2013 to join her fur-ever home when she was 11 months old. Since then, she has arguably become Region 18’s most versatile dog. Diva can run in any position and pass with any dog in either direction with anyone handling her. To no surprise, Diva has helped train and debut numerous dogs, and she is the go-to dog to double-list as a backup. This year, she even jumped into the middle of a race as a backup with a guest handler to run on a different club’s team with her normal handler in the opposing lane running another dog from Diva’s household–all without batting an eye! She is unequivocally 100% reliable. In a state filled with Sibes and husky mixes, Diva serves as an ambassador for showing that huskies can play flyball too. Whenever competing out-of-state, she consistently attracts attention with her beautiful swimmer’s turn, sparkly collars, and hypnotizing blue eyes with natural eyeliner. Diva may look like a diva, but she is an invaluable team player.
