Hudson, German Shorthaired Pointer, CRN 001014
Gates Creek Charismatic AKA “Hudson” takes his job seriously. Even at the ripe old age of 11, he can be heard as soon as he enters the building. He gets all the dogs going with his loud bark and cocky attitude.
He has raced for Spectrum Speed, FastAntics and now Furry Flash Dogsports. With a best time of 3.9 from way back in 2001, he was one of the fastest dogs in Region 12 for many years. He showed us that you can be big AND fast. Running his entire career as start dog, he is now approaching 60,000 pts. He has been the #1 German Shorthaired Pointer in NAFA for the last 5 years. He also raced with Northern Power Paws in the Veterans Division and helped post a time of 18.6 at 10 years of age.
Hudson now runs in Region 8 and still draws laughs from spectators and competitors alike. Whether it be watching Ken try to pry the ball out of his mouth or howling a tortuous lament while tugging on his leash, Hudson is a true example of a flyball dog who loves the game and does it with attitude!
