From a start as an accidental litter on a farm to an Iron Dog with over 60,000 points, Mic Jagger has shown he has the skills and heart of a true flyball dog. Everyone knows when he is in the lanes as he loudly announces his presence with his distinctive, rhythmic bark-bark-bark. He is a reliable, consistent height dog who can run in any position, with any handler, in any combination of dogs. At over 10 years of age, he still regularly runs under 5 seconds and helped his club become both Regular and Multibreed Regional Champions. Jagger frequently helps green dogs learn to pass and focus on their job. He also takes on the task of training new handlers, recently training two junior handlers. When Jagger’s owners can’t attend tournaments, but his club needs his height and speed, he travels with his club. As long as someone has his food and his tug (and a thick pair of gloves!) he is always ready to race. Jagger is a vital member of the Dixie Flyers and epitomizes the characteristics of MVP. The Music City Road Dogs nominate Mic Jagger for 2014 Region 14 MVP.
