Lenny – Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, CRN 110086
Lenny, a beloved 6-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with Alaska Dogs Gone Wild, is the epitome of reliability and versatility. Since debuting in 2010, Lenny has competed as a treasured height dog in every Alaska tournament and every CanAm. He can run anywhere in the pack and can always be counted on to help train new dogs. Lenny holds the ONYX title and is presently the #5 top-pointed CKCS. His handler, always striving to improve upon Lenny’s performance, recently started using a laser light as a reward. Lenny subsequently ran a new personal best of 5.764 seconds, shaving off nearly 0.4 seconds from his previous best time. This is truly a remarkable feat for a dog in mid-career. Lenny makes quite a ruckus in the runback. Sporting a lion cut, he has shown he can “roar” just as loudly as the big dogs. Lenny is always a crowd favorite, especially among kids. When he runs, he is a sight to see with his big red ears that flop as he jumps and swing comically over his eyes during his box turn. As an accomplished flyball dog, Lenny’s motto is: “Cavalier King Charles Spaniel – not just for laps anymore!”
