Phoebe, Jack/Parson Russell Terrier NND, CRN 051083
The Jet City Jumpers would have a lot of upset dogs and humans if not for Phoebe the Jack Russell Terrier, and we know she is our MVP! Phoebe found her forever home at age 6 after not fitting in with her previous home because of her intensity. She has been JCJ’s only height dog for months at a time, often running tirelessly on both regular and open teams so that her teammates could keep competing. Despite running in every heat of every tournament JCJ has attended since May 2007, she is still turning in times in the high 5’s and going nuts for the tennis ball at the end of the day on Sunday. Phoebe will happily run for anyone and it’s not unusual for her to run for five different people throughout the day. Despite being handled by numerous people and passing different dogs at nearly every tournament, Phoebe has earned over 53,000 points in just 5.5 years. Phoebe has been in the top 100 pointed dogs since 2008, is currently ranked 39th among all NAFA JRTs, and 2010, at the age of eleven, she earned 13,000 points making her the ninth highest pointed JRT in 2010.
