RUIN – Mix, CRN 100536
Ruin is one of the “elder statesmen” on our team and we are proud to nominate him for the 2018 MVP for Region 2. He didn’t join Springloaded until 2015, when he was no longer a young dog, but we couldn’t be happier to have him. Young, super-fast dogs get a lot of attention but no flyball team is successful without dogs like Ruin – fast, consistent, and giving his all in each and every race. While, at nearly 10 years old, he is now often in a back-up role, that does not diminish his importance to our team in any way. While some teams rarely use their back-up dogs, that is not us. Solid back-ups are a competitive advantage and they make a key contribution to achieving our team goals – be it winning a tournament, gaining regional points, or competing at CanAm. Thank you, Ruin and Christine, for the immeasurable and un-countable times when you have made our team better.
