Shelby – Border Collie, CRN 120200
Barkaholic’s submit Shelby for Region 11 MVP. Shelby is a loyal and consistent player. Shelby started racing in 2012. She has accumulated more than 37,000 points (earning her Grand Champion title), and over 8,000 multibreed points. Shelby has been on two teams that won in CanAm Divisional Finals and also has helped Barkaholic’s win the Multibreed Regional Championships this year. She raced for a while with the Barkaholics Division 1 Regular Team that also placed first in our region while she was on the team. Shelby ran on our first team to break into the 17 second range. While not the fastest dog on the team but certainly having the most fun earning her nickname, Shelby, Party of One. Shelby is a rock solid dog that can run with anyone, any position, and remain consistent throughout a race weekend. Christine and Shelby are at most every tournament with smiles on their faces. Shelby’s often used to break in new dogs in drills and head to heads. Shelby will run at her 6th Can Am Competition this year. She is an extraordinarily valuable dog for Barkaholic’s. While her career is far from over, we believe she is a MVP today.
