Slice – Mix, CRN 120628
On My Go! would like to nominate Nataki’s Slice of Life, “Slice” for this year’s Region 10 MVP. She is the definition of “GO” and will run anywhere, anytime, any day. The word “consistent” should be her middle name – she runs the same times now at 9 years old than she did in her debut year! Slice has done it all, from being our Regular 1 height dog, a “big dog” in Open (helping other clubs as well) and has even run in the Veterans class this year. She can run in any position, for any handler and with any combination of dogs. Everyone loves when Slice is on their team! What truly makes Slice our most valuable player is her role outside of tournaments. She is at every practice ready and willing to do anything. She has been instrumental in training every young dog in our club, from the easy to the most challenging! Head to head, passing, crossing – she takes it all in stride and shows the young ones how it’s supposed to be done. We rely on little Slice so much! The club couldn’t function without her, making her our Most Valuable Player for 2019.
