Striker, Whippet, CRN 060901
Striker is a whippet who has been a fixture on Hot Diggity Dogs timesheets in Region 20 for a number of years. Striker is our Most Valuable Player for the following reasons. We are a recreational flyball club who welcomes all breeds and speeds of dogs. That means often we have a 25 second team. With the help of Striker who runs UNDER 4 seconds, we can drop that time and have everyone earn NAFA points and awards. Striker is handled by Irene Doucet. Irene is a lady of a respectable age. Striker is a gentle dog and takes care to not tug too hard or be rough. However when Irene says “GO”, Striker is a blur in the race lane. As a captain, I never have to worry about this handler and dog combination. Striker’s ability to run in any position with any dogs at any time makes him a versitile asset to our club. His speed is amazing to watch and a crowd pleaser. Striker helps the Hot Diggity dogs earn points and WIN races. He is our MVP!!!
