Tugger – Border Collie, CRN 090220
Elaine Wood is the owner of the Pawz Across Texas flyball club in San Antonio, Texas. She got Tugger way back in the summer of 2008….before CanAm even existed! Since then, Tugger has had a remarkable career. Besides his own club, he has run on multiple clubs on open teams helping every dog along the way with his consistent and fast runs. He lives for the game and has proved it through his very long flyball career. He has exceeded by 5 years; the qualifications for an Iron Dog Award! We believe he is the oldest dog still actively running in flyball today. Though, not as fast, his love for the game hasn’t dwindled at all. Still barking loudly, pulling hard and running smooth as he just celebrated his 15th birthday this past June. Elaine and Tugger have been inseparable and they look forward for the next NAFA racing year.
