Zhen – Jack/Parson Russell Terrier NND, CRN 030369
In 2003 when Muddy Paws A-Flyin’ first came together (with all green dogs) we relied on one height dog, an adorable little Jack Russell named Zhen. At that first tournament she put on quite a show but as she matured she became a very solid and reliable height dog running on lots of open teams and willing to run for anyone. Zhen has been racing in Region 7 for 11 years now and while she is missing half her teeth and her face is mostly greyed, she still loves to play and is as reliable as always. Without Zhen, I don’t know that Muddy Paws would even be around. She often had to iron dog as a height dog but didn’t mind one bit because she loves to play. I am nominating Zhen not only because she has put in so many years of racing with Muddy Paws and so many other clubs, but also because Zhen is a wonderful flyball dog trainer. She has played a HUGE part in helping our team grow, mature and expand as we rely on her steady and focused demeanor while working with green dogs. Zhenners has the true heart of a flyball dog.
