Bonus – Jack/Parson Russell Terrier NND, CRN 030663
We would like to respectfully nominate Bonus, an 11 yr old Jack Russell Terrier who races in Regina, Saskatchewan. Bonus began his career 10 years ago as height dog for the Ruff Riders. This little 12 inch dog runs his heart out, every heat, every race over two days of tournaments every race weekend. He was and still is one of the foundation blocks of our team today. Even at practices, Bonus is there to help the new dogs with their passes. Any dog worrying about a dog running in to them never seemed to mind little Bonus. Not only has Bonus introduced new dogs to the art of passing, but he also introduced a new generation to the joy of racing. Bonus is a solid dog who can be handled by anyone, new or seasoned, The past 2 years, his secondary handler has been his 11 yr old boy, Justin. We truly feel that without Bonus (and we were without him for 4 ½ months when he went missing) that there would be a huge hole within the team. We ask that you please consider Bonus for Region 8 MVP. Thank you
