Emma – Jack/Russell Terrier, CRN 041057
I am nominating MRR’s extraordinary JRT, Emma, for 2012 Region 16 MVP. In 2012, Emma was the main height dog on both our Regional Championship teams, and earned over 18,000 points. Emma was also the main height dog on our two past Regional Championship teams, and has raced on our Division 1 Regular and Multibreed teams for years. In her 8+ year flyball career, Emma has earned almost 90,000 points, is currently the #10 JRT and #45 Overall, and isn’t ready to quit yet. In fact, she still tells us – quite verbally – when she thinks she hasn’t been out to race enough. Emma is a tough and consistent little dog, and is a blast to run. She can run anywhere (she loves it when we let her start), for anyone, with any dogs. At the end of the day Sunday, when the rest of us are dragging, Emma is still out there barking up a storm, ready and raring to go. I hope everybody who has had the pleasure of watching Emma racing this season will agree that her reliability, versatility, consistency, and can-do attitude make her a natural choice for MVP.
