Score – Mix, CRN 080016
Score was found on the streets at the age of 8 weeks old, and was in training to be a service dog, but was released because of looking too pit bull-ish. He stayed with his puppy raiser, Erin, and learned to play flyball instead. He never looked back! Score is the surprise on the lanes for newbies to Region 15. No one ever expects the plain brown wrapper dog to shoot out to the box, whip around and return for his jolly-ball-on-a-tug so quickly. His best time is a 3.6, but he usually runs around 4.0. He has been running for only 4 years, but it seems like he’s been doing this forever. He has been running for the past three years with his best buddy “Score Boy” an 11 year old kid that comes along to play flyball with the team. They run start together, and often hit perfect starts. Score is easy going and travels with other teams when we don’t attend tournaments, and runs well for anyone. He truly is an exceptional flyball dog…and is more than worthy of the title of MVP for Region 15.
