Filbert – Mix, CRN 130717
Springloaded Flyball Team would like to nominate Filbert for Region 2 MVP. Filbert is a Quicksilver Border-Rat, bred by Julie & Leerie Jenkins, and owned by Ed & Kathy Barzal. As a puppy, he learned the game of flyball very quickly and he started to race shortly after his first birthday. He has barely put a foot down wrong ever since. No matter what position, no matter whether he’s running as a ‘Big Dog’ or a height dog, Filbert is your man. Not only is he rock-solid reliable but you can always count on his handler Ed for the great start or killer pass that you need. Filbert is also an MVP when it comes to helping to get our green dogs ready to race. He has a bomb-proof temperament and is always happy to work with the kids – even though he is still a pretty young guy himself. It goes without saying that there are many great dogs in Region 2 but we hope you will join us in recognizing Filbert’s immense contribution to our team.
