Gil – Border Collie, CRN 090583
Lochlea Gil McBeinn (Gil) made his flyball debut in December 2009. Gil’s love for the game is unwavering and he has taught numerous new flyball handlers (including several junior handlers) the flyball game. Additionally, his great attitude and temperament has been extremely valuable training new green dogs (and their handlers) to pass. Gil has raced with dogs from several different clubs without hesitation, just let him race and he is happy. His consistent performance is evidenced by being Region 14’s highest point earner with over 90,000 points. Gil has been instrumental in helping his team become Regular and Multibreed Champions in Region 14 for the past 5 years, running on both teams. Gil is an excellent ambassador for flyball and I cannot think of a better role model for the MVP award.
