The Dixie Flyers are proud to nominate Rodeo from Music City Road Dogs as the 2013 Region 14 MVP. Rodeo has been an invaluable member of the club for his entire racing career, running in every position and on every team from the MCRD A team, to multi breed, to veterans. Now 11 years young, this Iron Dog Award recipient has earned nearly 80,000 points. It is clear that Rodeo lives for the game, since he is currently the #12 Aussie out of the 1577 registered with NAFA. While pure facts are enough to support our nomination, Rodeo’s energy, consistency and ability are even more impressive proof of his qualifications for this award. He has been a staple in Region 14 for ten years and is no less enthusiastic than he was on Day One, putting a grin on the face of everyone who watches him race. He has spent many years “training” green dogs and their handlers, acting as the steady dog on the team and helping them make a successful debut and continue to gain experience. The DFs firmly believe that Rodeo is doing his part to grow “Flyball”. Region 14 wouldn’t be the same without him.
