Scully – Miniature American/Australian Shepherd, CRN 041356
High Fives would like to recommend Scully for Region 4 MVP. Scully is owned by Tija and Scott Mohr, but loved by everyone that meets him. Tija received Scully for her birthday in 2003 and a year later, again on her birthday, ran his first tournament. In fact he started a mini Aussie craze in our area, everyone wants a Scully or wants to steal him, but they broke the mold after they made him. Scully has been a solid foundation for our team. He has run on regular, open, mulit teams and in any position from start to anchor. As High Fives has been short on height dogs in the past couple of years, we have had to rely heavily on Scully and he never misses a beat. Whenever or wherever we need him he is there, be it to train new dogs on passing, attending all our tournaments, or participating in demos to promote the sport, you can always count on Scully and Tija. Although he is old enough to run vets, slowing down is not in this dog’s vocabulary, he is just as scrappy as ever and challenges all our dogs to do their best.
