Skyler, Jack/Parson Russell Terrier NND, CRN 020549
Skyler is a JRT who has been a height dog for the past 9 years in Region 16. He is well known out here with his scary bared teeth snapping as he “waits” for his turn to go. Luckily he just looks scary and is only expressing his burning desire to get the job done. In his career thus far he has earned over 40,000 points and in the process has helped numerous dogs earn countless numbers of points. Since January 2009 Surf City Flyball has had the honor of having Skyler on our team. He was our only height dog for 2 years and without him we would have really struggled to run in any tournaments. In these past 2+ years Skyler has run with several different dogs, in every position and with several different handlers. Skyler has met us at tournaments when his owner was able to come and has come and stayed with different families when she could not come. He has never missed a beat and has always been the dog we can depend on no matter what the circumstances. Skyler is definitely an MVP for us and certainly deserves the honor of Region 16 MVP.
