Turner, 2012 Region 2 MVP

Turner – Border Collie, CRN 020959

I am thrilled to nominate Turner, the ultimate Border Collie owned by Craig and Sharon MacSween, for Region 2’s MVP. Turner, an invaluable member of Bad to the Bone for the past 3 years and of other teams since 2002, is the epitome of a Flyball MVP. Now 11 years young, an Iron Dog Award recipient and close to 80,000 points, she still lives for the game, running 3.8s and 3.9s ín her prime and even now in the low 4’s. Her skill and longevity are found not only at the Flyball box but also in her offspring from the whelping box. Turner produced 11 puppies, all outstanding in Flyball including both height and strong powerful dogs. Two of her sons have gone on to produce equally outstanding progeny and Turner’s legacy will live on in the Flyball community for many years to come. Myles, Hoochie, Sever, Cheech, Grip, Juice, Sydney, Bayou, Guilty, Fly, and Cork, on Region 1 and Region 2 teams, have helped significantly lower their teams’ times in competition and all share their mother’s indomitable spirit. Please join me in celebrating Turner’s joie de Flyball and vote for her as Region 2’s MVP. Respectfully and proudly submitted, Andrea Walli Bad to the Bone (331) Region 2
