Gypsy – American Cocker Spaniel, CRN 040681
Gypsy is a twelve-year-old 9 inch American Cocker Spaniel owned and loved by Peggy Arsenault. He began his flyball career in 2004 and was immediately addicted to the game. At 12 years of age Gypsy can still carry his own team as the height dog! You instantly notice his enthusiasm and excitement on the mats. A well-rounded dog, Gypsy is able to run in any position, pass fearlessly in either direction, and is consistent in retrieving the ball and returning to Peggy for his reward. Because he is so solid, with a calm and non-threatening demeanor, Gypsy is frequently called upon to help train green dogs. Despite having been diagnosed with several ailments in recent years, including seizures, hypothyroidism, cataracts, and a heart murmur, Gypsy has been able to continue playing flyball with the guidance of several wonderful veterinarians, the love of his momma, and the support of his team.
